About this project
Food Forest is focused on building community gardens to tackle food security issues, while also supporting youth by creating a safe space for them. We are creating child & youth-led food production across the region addressing mental health, skills training, and employment among children & youth.
Potential
Have a Child & Youth run and led network across the region to produce 50% of the total calories needed in the region
Vision
The Waterloo Region is resilient to food insecurity, through youth-led gardening and food production.
